Why haven't I received an activation email after signing up?

If you don't see an email activation in your inbox, please check your spam, junk or bulk folder. Sometimes the message incorrectly goes there. If you do find it in your spam folder, please mark it as "not spam", and then click the link in the email. (If you do not see the email activation in your inbox OR your spam filter, please add support@thumbtack.com to your contact list, and let us know at that email address so we can re-send you the email activation.)

The users who have the hardest time receiving the activation emails are those with unusual domain names on their email addresses. If you aren't using Gmail, Yahoo, AOL, etc. - then you might have more trouble receiving the activation email than others.

If you direct email to an email address at your personal domain, it might take 48 hours or so to receive the activation email. We don't know why this is - but unfortunately there doesn't seem to be anything we can do about it!
