Thumbtack does not require a client to give us a phone number when the request is submitted. It is optional.
If the client chooses to accept quotes by phone and give us a phone number, we will reveal that phone number to the service professional so he or she may contact the consumer via phone after submitting a quote.
If the client does not provide a phone number, the service professional will be able to contact the client via email messaging after submitting a quote. He/she may also ask for the phone number then to continue the conversation.
